A marquee stand at Hillhead built to bring Euro Auctions' live auction floor to visitors, with kiosks, PA sound and hospitality built in.
Euro Auctions returned to Exhibition Vision for a stand inside a marquee at Hillhead — the UK's biennial quarrying, construction and recycling exhibition, held on a working quarry site at Harpur Hill, near Buxton, Derbyshire. With machinery and plant auctions being the client's core business, the brief was to put the live auction itself at the centre of the visitor experience: somewhere to browse current listings, hear the auction in progress, and talk to the team on the spot, rather than just look at branded graphics.
A branded marquee stand built to support live auction browsing and hospitality, not just static display.
A finished floor laid across the full marquee footprint, giving the stand a consistent surface regardless of the ground underneath the tent.
Branding carried on the inside and outside of the stand walls, so the Euro Auctions identity read from the aisle as well as from inside the marquee.
Storage absorbed into the structure rather than left on show, keeping staff kit and stock out of sight on a working stand.
A hospitality point for welcoming visitors onto the stand, giving staff and clients somewhere to stop, talk and have a coffee before moving on to the auction content.
Letting visitors scroll through the client's own auction listings at their own pace, rather than relying on staff to talk through every lot.
Bringing the sound of a live auction onto the stand floor, so passing visitors could hear what was happening before they'd even stepped inside.
The stand gave Euro Auctions a fully branded space inside the marquee, with the kiosks and PA bringing the live auction itself onto the floor rather than just describing it. The corner cupboard kept the stand tidy despite the added kit, and the angled counter and coffee machine gave visitors a natural point to stop, talk and stay a while rather than walk straight past. Furniture and lighting fitted to the top of the walls carried that welcome through the rest of the stand, so it worked as somewhere to linger, not just somewhere to look.
