Exhibiting in Ireland
Irish shows are a regular part of our calendar rather than an occasional trip, and several of our longest-standing clients are Irish companies who use us on both sides of the water. The stand that goes up at the NEC in January is often the same stand, and the same crew, at a Dublin or Kildare show later in the year.
That continuity is the point. A build in Ireland adds a sea crossing and a paperwork trail to a job that is otherwise identical, and those are logistics problems rather than design problems. We plan the schedule backwards from the sailing so the extra step does not eat into your build time on site.

What an Irish build involves
The design work is no different. The difference sits in the schedule, and it is worth understanding before you commit to a show, because the decisions that cause problems are usually made months earlier rather than during build-up.
Punchestown Racecourse, County Kildare
Punchestown is not a conventional exhibition hall, and that is exactly why certain shows use it. The site runs to 450 acres of Kildare countryside with over 14,000 square metres of tarmac hardstanding and parking for up to 17,000 cars, which makes it one of the few venues on the island that can take genuinely heavy exhibits without a floor loading conversation.
We have built here — our stand for Euro Auctions at ICE was on this ground. For machinery, plant and vehicles, an outdoor hardstanding site removes most of the constraints a hall imposes: no height limit, no aisle width to design around, and vehicles that can drive onto the stand rather than be craned in. The indoor spaces handle 20 to 300 seated for the meeting and conference side.

The RDS and Dublin shows
The RDS in Ballsbridge is the centre of gravity for Dublin exhibiting. Forty-three acres in the heart of the city with almost three hundred years of history behind it, it handles large-scale exhibitions and conferences of a thousand delegates and upwards, and its city-centre position means visitors arrive on foot and by public transport in numbers.
As with any city-centre venue, that accessibility comes with tighter vehicle windows during build-up than an out-of-town site would give you. Access slots, stand height and structural sign-off are set by your show organiser in the exhibitor manual rather than by the venue, so the manual is the document that actually governs your build.
