Euroauction at ICE Expo 2025
Punchestown Racecourse
Exhibiting at Punchestown? 450 acres of Kildare countryside and over 14,000 square metres of tarmac — an outdoor site suited to machinery, plant and vehicles, and one we have built on.
Punchestown Racecourse near Naas, County Kildare, is a racecourse first and an event venue second, and that is exactly why certain shows use it. The site runs to 450 acres, with over 14,000 square metres of tarmac-surfaced area and car parking for up to 17,000 cars, which lets an organiser put heavy exhibits outdoors on hardstanding rather than inside a hall.
We have built here. Our stand for Euro Auctions at ICE Expo, the construction and plant equipment show held at Punchestown on 23–24 May 2025, went up on this ground for the show's first edition.

Racecourse, parkland and event spaces on one Kildare site.
Hard-surfaced ground for vehicles, plant and heavy exhibits.
Space for large visitor numbers arriving by road.
For the meeting, hospitality and conference side of a show.
Punchestown is an outdoor venue with indoor space attached, rather than a hall with an outdoor area. That shapes what a stand here needs to do.

On hardstanding there is no hall ceiling and no aisle width to design around, and machinery can be driven onto the stand rather than craned in. That removes most of the constraints a hall imposes, but it brings in the ones a hall normally takes care of: weather, wind on graphics and structures, ground that may need levelling, and power that has to be brought to the stand.
Those are problems we deal with at other outdoor shows — Hillhead in a working quarry, the Goodwood Festival of Speed on open ground, and the National Ploughing Championships in Offaly. The structure has to be engineered for the site, not just the brand.
An outdoor build carries the risks a hall normally absorbs. Most of them are settled long before build-up.
Freight crosses the Irish Sea, so the schedule starts from the ferry booking, not the build-up day.
Outdoor structures and graphics need to handle wind and rain, not just look right.
Check the plot, the surface and the power supply with the organiser before design sign-off.
Stand height, RAMS and structural sign-off are set by your organiser, not the venue.
We design and manufacture in our own workshop in Redditch and install across the UK, Ireland and Europe. For a Punchestown build that means the crew that builds your NEC stand builds your Dublin one — no handover to a local contractor you have never met.
We are ESSA members. A full build covers design, manufacture, transport, installation, on-site management and dismantle, along with the documentation your organiser asks for. Because we build to travel, the same stand can work across a UK and Irish show calendar, and we can store it between shows. See our other Irish exhibition venues.

For heavy or large exhibits. Outdoors on hardstanding there is no ceiling height to work under and vehicles can drive onto the stand, which suits machinery, plant and vehicle shows.
Yes. We built Euro Auctions' stand at ICE Expo, the construction and plant equipment show held at Punchestown on 23–24 May 2025.
It has to cope with weather and wind, the ground may need levelling first, and power has to be supplied to the stand. We plan for all three from the design stage.
Yes. We design and manufacture in Redditch, ship to Ireland and install with our own crew, and we handle the paperwork a cross-border build needs.
