This catches people out. Fiera Milano operates the large exhibition quarter at Rho, on the edge of the city, and a second site within Milan itself. They are different locations with different access, and a show at one tells you nothing about logistics at the other.
Before anything is designed or booked, confirm which site your show occupies and get it in writing. Crew accommodation, vehicle routing, freight delivery addresses and how long it takes to get from a hotel to the hall all change depending on the answer. It is a five-minute check that prevents an expensive mistake, and it is the single most common thing UK exhibitors get wrong about Milan.
