Project Overview
Yamaha and Torqeedo shared a stand at the Southampton International Boat Show, held at Mayflower Park from 18–27 September 2026. The stand was installed on site on 17 September, the day before the show opened, to display Yamaha's WaveRunners and RIB outboards alongside Torqeedo's electric propulsion range.
Scope of Work
A structured outdoor stand built from the ground up, combining display space for both brands with secure, weatherproof storage for staff.
Weed-suppressant sheeting laid and a 10m x 8m timber deck installed
Ground preparation across the grass before any structure went up.
Quad truss erected on four legs, with branded leg boxes fitted to two of them
The structural framework carrying the Yamaha and Torqeedo branding at height.
4.5m x 4m waterproof tent built onto the deck
A weatherproof enclosure for stock, staff and literature.
Branded walling fitted inside the tent, with lockable cupboards
Secure storage for personal items, literature and brochures.
Large windproof banner fitted to the back of the stand, between the truss legs
High-level branding built to withstand the waterfront setting.
Furniture added for casual client meetings on the stand
Space for visitors and clients to sit down on site.
Outcome
The finished stand paired Yamaha's WaveRunners and RIB outboards with Torqeedo's electric propulsion range under one branded structure, with the truss and windproof banner carrying both brands at height. Inside, the lockable branded walling gave staff secure, weatherproof storage for the ten-day show.
